The Adoration team consists of members (called “legal adorers”) of the parish who have committed to pray at least one hour per week in the presence of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament exposed on the altar in the sanctuary or chapel room. We also have “substitute adorers” who do not keep a regular weekly hour but who will cover various hours for those “legal adorers” who for some reason cannot fulfill their commitment for a specific date and time.
At this time, not all Adoration hours are open to the public. The church is locked for overnight hours which are set aside only for particular approved legal adorers. We are always trying to extend our Adoration hours so please see the parish bulletin for the most updated Adoration hours which are open to visitors.
Our parish hopes and prays that we will one day have Perpetual Adoration of Our Lord or 24 hours per day, 7 days per week Adoration. Jesus once asked his apostles in the Garden of Gethsemane, “Can you not stay up one hour with me?” Please consider devoting one hour of your week to visiting our Lord here. Jesus awaits you, and loves you to visit Him!
